VLC5809 is a compact handheld CB from Midland with over 400 channels.

Ideal for large site use on farms, agricultural production sites, manufacturing sites, site security and traffic control.

A great tool for property maintenance and repair work where workers are not visible to each other such as on drainage, electrical and plant installations and repairs work. 

A multi-standard transceiver that allows selecting any band.

It features Digital Squelch (Auto Squelch) which automatically adjusts the squelch thus avoiding the use of manual adjustment.

Powered by 6 x AA batteries, or a rechargeable 8 x AA battery pack ( batteries are not included in either ) it can be used in or out of your vehicle.

A car kit is also included, which when paired with a vehicle antenna can be used allowing a much greater range.
